Can I see the product in a showroom?
Book a personalised design consultation with one of our interior designers for R1,000 per hour. Consultations take place by appointment at our carefully selected trade partner showrooms, where you'll have access to a curated collection of furniture, lighting, fabrics and finishes. We'll guide you through the selection process, helping you source pieces that suit your space, style and budget.
Can I edit my order after it has been placed?
As most items are made to order, we take care to ensure you're completely satisfied with your selections before production begins.
If your order has not yet entered production, we'll do our best to accommodate any changes. Please email madehomeliving@gmail.com as soon as possible with your order number and the amendments you'd like to make.
When will I get my order?
In-stock items are typically delivered within 5–10 working days across South Africa. As each made-to-order piece is handcrafted specifically for you, lead times are approximately 4–6 weeks.
How much does shipping cost?
As our furniture is handcrafted in Cape Town, estimated delivery charges within the Cape Town metropolitan area range from R900–R1,500, depending on the size of your order and delivery address. This is a guide only, and a final delivery quote will be provided before your order is confirmed. Deliveries outside the Cape Town metro and to remote or outlying areas are quoted separately.
What is the return policy?
We want every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. If for any reason you're not, please let us know. We offer a 7-day return policy on eligible items returned unused and in their original condition and packaging. As each bespoke and made-to-order piece is crafted specifically for you, these items are non-returnable. Contact our team within 7 days of receiving your order and we'll do our best to make things right.
Where are your products manufactured?
Many of our furniture pieces are handcrafted at our trusted factory in Cape Town, where skilled artisans bring each design to life with exceptional attention to detail. We also partner with a carefully selected network of local and international makers who share our commitment to quality, craftsmanship and lasting design.
